Come see “Juliana Moreno’s luminous portrayal of a Kansas City Teen” – Variety

A world premiere play “Fusing the writing of the Bard & David Mamet” – Backstage

"Hawley Anderson's script aptly promotes a theme that sees soldiers as both victims and heroes….catapulting this production into something flawless." – Tolucan Times

“Anderson’s text, abetted by Davin Palmer’s understated direction uses politics as the device against which the saga of thwarted teen love plays out.” – Santa Monica Mirror

JULES -- A "Romeo & Juliet" inspired story told through the eyes of Juliet. If Jules' family came from a long line of military heroes, and Romeo was Muslim could the story have a different ending? The action unfolds in modern day Kansas City, not unlike Verona in many ways. Jules is forced to navigate around the great partitions that lie between patriotism and freedom of speech, the left and the right, duty and honor, and between love and hate.
